My Sunshine Florida Villa ~ Testimonials
"The villa is exactly as described. about 10-15 mins to disney parks and 15 - 20 to universal parks. all are very easily accessed with only two or three turns to make which makes the driving easy. The villa complex is very clean and extremely well maintained, so much so that i was afraid to let the kids walk on the grass verges along the roadsides. Everything you need in food shopping and local restaurants are minutes away and 3 of the main outlet malls are only 5, 10 and 15 minutes away (you pass by 2 on the way to universal, premium outlets is the better of the 2, thats just before you take the ramp for the I 4). The villa is very clean and comfortable. It certainly feels more homely than some villas and hotels ive stayed in. i would have no problem recommending this villa or complex to anyone and would recommend anyone thinking of a holiday in florida to rent a villa. Its not like holiday resorts in the med where you can stroll around the town centres which are usually minutes from the hotel. (You really do need a car as it gives you much more freedom during your holiday and its very easy to find your way around once youve driven for a day or two there but do rent or bring a sat nav with you and spend a bit of time looking at the google map of orlando, there is a amn icon on the top of the zoom bar on the map and if you drag the icon to the road your staying on the google video map comes up and you can see the actual road in real time which gives you a chance to take note of a landmark near the turn you need to make. that saved me alot of heartache as the sat nav the car hire gave us was an old one and didnt recognised lake berkley).This eliminates any advantage you think your getting from staying in a hotel. Honestly, you try find a pedestrain crossing that isnt a mile from where you want to cross the road, its a great game to play if you want to wear out the kids. The complex was a little quiet but we went this october so i would expect it to be busier in the summer months. It was also the hottest and driest october on record which was great as it still wasnt too hot (about 86 degrees everyday except for our last day). again id recommend the villa and elizabeth also rang us in the house twice which i thought was very nice of her and again confirmed the more homely feel to the villa."

Lake Berkley is a great place to stay. It is close to Disney and other attractions. Our house was very nicely decorated with everything you need and we would be happy to stay again. Only complaint was it did need a little extra cleaning like base boards and some high level dusting. Nothing big. Also no pool cover. We stayed in Feb. and it cost an extra $130.00 a week to have the pool heated. It was a nice vacation and we would rent this home again. Thank you for renting us your home Elizabeth.

"We had a holiday of a lifetime, Ive been back home in the UK and I still feel really homesick for the villa, Lake Berkley and Florida itself. Booking was so easy, the information given was exellent and prompt. Could have saved a fortune on park tickets because the kids just wanted to stay in the pool at the villa!!! Saving up now and hope to return in 2012. I normally like to try different places for holiday and never go to the same place twice, this will be the one exception no where else will live up to Lake Berkley. Thank you for a fabulous holiday and some very happy memories."
